A good alpha produces a good omega.  Desired outcomes are dependent upon strong preparation.  Depending upon the size and scope of your campaign, it can take up to one year planning and preparing for your Capital Campaign.  For most PACE clients four to six months is more common.  This may include a feasibility and planning study, prospect propensity review, as well as volunteer recruitment.
